Cottage conveniences: The cottage has a washer/dryer in a closet off the back patio. We have DSL Internet access for those who travel with a laptop. You can eat on the front porch (for morning shade), on the back patio (for mountain and garden views), or indoors by the glass doors to enjoy the view. Enjoying Black Sand Cove: The beautiful and innovative-designed gardens at Black Sand Cove were designed and developed by Julie Toll. Julie has won many garden design awards in England, including 4 Gold and 2 Silver awards at the famous Chelsea Flower Show. Her special interest is maximizing the use of native species, and creating ecologically-sound landscaping. Secluded on our private acreage, you'll hear only the sounds of nature: the wind in the banana trees, the birds, the crickets and frogs, and the waves on the short of the virtually private beach. (While all beaches are public property on Nevis, the only way to get to this beach is by boat or down our stairway.) The 360-degree views provide fabulous sunrises and sunsets, and the passing spectacle of the changing clouds all day long. This is a great place to get away from it all, and relax, write, paint, play music, or just give your mind a rest. With temperatures in the 80's all year, you may have trouble leaving.
